The Arts

Students are given music and art appreciation lessons as a part of their exploration of history and geography; celebrations and customs from around the world are explored.

In music, basic theory and composition are investigated.

In visual arts, the students develop skills through examination into drawing, shading, perspective, use of colour, and sculpture. Different media, including pencil, charcoal, water colour acrylic paint, pastel, clay, and paper mache are introduced and used.

For drama, the students participate in a school-wide dramatic& production each year. They also participate in creating a school-wide talent show and an art exhibit.
