Michelle Powell, Teacher

Michelle holds a diploma in Outdoor Adventure from Algonquin College and a Bachelor of Tourism Management with a Double Honours Major in Entrepreneurship and Adventure Studies from Thompson Rivers University. She completed her Bachelor of Education through Trent University. She has been involved in education for over 15 years in varying capacities through traditional classroom settings and outdoor education programs. She is passionate about working with youth and guiding them through their educational journey.

Craig Nakamoto, Outdoor Education

Craig holds a Bachelor of Math from the University of Waterloo and while he does not hold any official certifications in outdoor education (other than first aid), he does have extensive experience in the field. Specifically in Muskoka, Craig has spent 5 decades skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing, camping, rock climbing, fishing, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, and exploring. One of his passions is introducing people to wilderness activities.
