Through the physical education program, students develop their ability to work cooperatively as a team, while learning skills associated with a variety of sports. Emphasis is placed on non-competitive games which stress cooperation, team-building, good sportsmanship, skill building, and effort.
Sports include: cross-country skiing, swimming, snowshoeing, volleyball, soccer, hiking, football, basketball, bowling, curling, skating, badminton, yoga, and karate.
For health education, the students discuss, investigate, and research issues associated with healthy living, sex education and the systems of the body.
